From My Kitchen to Yours

For as long as I can remember, food has been the language of my soul.

Some people speak best with words.

Some speak through music.

My conversations have always happened in kitchens — around cutting boards, simmering pots, and shared plates.

Food is how I express care.

Food is how I understand people.

Food is where I feel most like myself.

And in my world, the conversation never ends when the meal is over.

It lingers.

It becomes memory.

Emotion.

Connection.

Food is how I say:

“I see you.”

“I love you.”

“I made this for you.”

Without ever speaking.

That is why “handcrafted with love” is not a marketing phrase to me.

It is literal.

It is the truth.

It is the only way I know how to cook.

Food made without care doesn't mean anything.

Where Controlled Burn Came From

Controlled Burn was born from that place where craft meets care.

Where flavor becomes expression.

I did not set out to make a product.

I set out to make something meaningful.

I wanted an oil that felt alive.

An oil that carried:

- warmth

- color

- aroma

- intention

Something that could turn an ordinary meal into something memorable.

Something soulful.

For months, I experimented with:

- different chiles

- aromatics

- spices

- infusion methods

- temperatures

- timing

I was chasing a feeling more than a formula:

- the warmth of guajillo

- the brightness of annatto

- the perfume of cinnamon and fennel

- the gentle heat of árbol

And the first time I saw that deep ruby glow, I felt it immediately.

This was not just another chili oil.

This was something expressive.

Something heartfelt.

Something that could finally speak for me.

Flavor is one of the purest forms of communication I know.

More Than a Condiment

Controlled Burn became my way of sending a piece of myself into someone else’s kitchen.

A way of saying:

“Here.

This is how I communicate.

This is what love tastes like in my language.”

Every bottle is made the same way I cook for the people I care about:

- slowly

- thoughtfully

- intentionally

- by hand

With my whole heart in it.

That is why every batch is small.

That is why every bottle matters.

Nothing is rushed.

Nothing is automated.

Nothing is purely transactional.

Because food made with care feels different.

People can taste it.

The final ingredient is always intention.

This Is a Message

This is not just a product to me.

It is an extension of how I connect with the world.

A continuation of every kitchen conversation I have ever had.

A part of my voice.

A way of sharing:

- warmth

- color

- comfort

- love

With people I may never meet, but can still reach.

This is more than a condiment.

This is a message.

From my kitchen to yours.
